CAUTION

Operating the ATV immediately after starting could cause engine damage. Allow the engine to warm up for several minutes before riding.

Engine exhaust contains poisonous carbon monoxide that can cause loss of consciousness resulting in severe injury and worst case death. Never run an engine in an enclosed area!

Proper Riding

Posture and Procedure

  1. Sit upright with both of your feet firmly on the footrests and both of your hands on the handlebars.
  2. Start your engine and allow it to warm up for a few minutes.
  3. Carefully check your surroundings and then determine your path of travel.
  4. Release the parking break.
  5. Slowly press down the throttle with your right thumb and begin carefully driving. (Remember that your vehicle speed is controlled by the amount of opening given for the throttle.)
  6. Drive slowly and carefully. Practice proper maneuvering; throttle use and proper break functions on level surfaces before starting a ride.
