When your child is ready to learn to ride, YOU must be familiar with the ATV he or she will be riding on! Read and understand the owner’s manual, and labels! Become familiar with the controls, handling, characteristics, and maintenance requirements. Review all the instructions and warnings with your child.
Find out the local ATV laws and or regulations. Go over them with your child!
You and your child should participate in an ATV Rider Course in your area.
